JEE Main 2020: Following the announcement made by IITs, the Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has decided to relax the eligibility criteria for admissions to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs. Now, the students need to qualify JEE Main 2020 and have a passing certificate of Class 12 to be eligible for admission to the NITs and other institutes under the CSAB admission process. Union Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal took to Twitter to inform the decision for the JEE Main aspirants. It has been decided in the wake of prevailing circumstances that has led to the cancellation of board examinations. As many students could not appear for all the exams in their respective board examinations, the criteria of minimum 75 percent mark requirement in class 12 seem unfair. Haryana govt will give free books to students HRD Minister wrote: "Due to prevailing circumstances, Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB) has decided to relax the eligibility criterion for admissions to NITs and other CFTIs.
