CBSE exam reform 2026: Two-session board exams
Looking ahead, the CBSE plans to implement a two-board-exam system for Class 10 from the academic session 2026. The move aims to reduce exam pressure and give students another chance to improve their performance. The best score out of the two sessions will be considered final, and students will also have the option to opt out of the second session for any subject.
