Karwa Chauth 2022: Cleopatra Salon and makeovers organises 'Solah Shringar Mela' at Chandigarh Sector 44

Solah Shringar Karwa Chauth Mela: Karwa Chauth, one of the most auspicious festivals for married women in India, falls on October 13 this year. Married women observe a day-long fast without water for the long and healthy life of their husbands. Married women are very excited about this festival and traditionally dress up in their wedding attire. Everyone applies mehndi on their hands and wants to look their best. Husbands usually give special gifts to their wives. Women, according to Hindu Mythology, also wear 'Solah Sringar' on Karwa Chauth. Women don't want to leave their attractive looks to chance, whether it's applying the latest and most attractive designs of mehndi on their hands, buying gorgeous bangles, wearing attractive clothes, trying trendy hairstyles, or donning sophisticated makeup. With this in mind, Richa Agarwal of Cleopatra Salon and Makeovers organised the 'Solah Shringar Karwa Chauth Mela' for the women of Chandigarh. The Solah Shringar Mela was held at Sector 44 of Chandigarh. "On this day, every woman is really particular about makeup, hairstyle, and beautiful clothes," makeover artists Richa Aggarwal and Harveen Kathuria said. "Not only do they want solah Shringar, but also want to wear trendy outfits." So, for Karwa Chauth 2022, we organised a Solah Shringar Mela, where they could get Solah Shringar done from head to toe and learn new hairstyling, makeup, and nail art tricks. Several Bollywood and traditional looks were created for this event. Make-up experts also shared beauty, make-up, and wellness tips with the Solah Shringar Mela participants. Looks with personal make-up, professional make-up, wedding make-up, air-brush make-up, Bollywood make-up, and western make-up were also presented. A special workshop on sari draping was also organised, where women learnt the proper method to drape their saris.
