Kejriwal committed fraud to show himself as Punjab AAP convenor and got Z-plus security from Punjab: Sukhpal Khaira

Chandigarh, July 27: The Congress has launched a tirade against the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over security in Punjab. Congress MLAs Sukhpal Khaira and Pargat Singh have released some documents in which Delhi CM and national convenor of the AAP Arvind Kejriwal has been shown as the convener of Punjab. His name is on the top in the Z Plus category of security. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann's is on the second position while at present Bhagwant Maan is the head of the AAP in Punjab. Terming it a fraud, the Congress alleged that all this had been done to avail security in Punjab. However, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is tight-lipped on the issue.

  The Congress MLAs alleged that the Punjab Government had submitted this document in the Punjab and Haryana High Court in response to a petition of former Deputy CM OP Soni in which Arvind Kejriwal had been given Z plus security by declaring him the Punjab convener of the AAP. Punjab MLA Pargat Singh alleged that the Bhagwant Maan-led Punjab government had cheated the people of the state. "Arvind Kejriwal has been given Z Plus security by falsely showing him as the convener of Punjab. Kejriwal already has Z plus security as the Delhi CM from the Centre," he added. "All this was done for Z Plus security by the Punjab Government. Being the CM of Delhi, he already has Z plus security from the Central Government. These documents have been included in the writ petition filed in the High Court," he added, while asking CM Bhagwant Maan to come clean on the issue.
