Farmers' protest: The five-member committee of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha and the Central government will be holding talks at 10 am in New Delhi on Wednesday to take a final call on the farmers' pending demands. The urgent meeting of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha's 5-member committee will be held at 10 am on Wednesday at the All India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) office, 36, Pandit Ravi Shankar Shukla Lane, Near Kasturba Gandhi Marg, New Delhi. According to information, the Centre on Tuesday replied to farmers' charter of demands. The Centre reiterated that the committee, including the SKM members, will make a decision on the MSP issue. On withdrawal of cases, the Uttar Pradesh and Harana government have agreed to withdraw the cases immediately. On compensation to the kin of deceased farmers, the Central government said that both the Haryana and Uttar Pradesh governments have agreed to it. -PTC News
