Lalu Prasad Yadav's health condition critical, to be shifted to AIIMS Delhi
Lalu Prasad Yadav health condition: Lalu Prasad Yadav will be taken to AIIMS-Delhi from Ranchi hospital following a deterioration in his health, the news agency PTI reported on Saturday.
Lalu Prasad Yadav has been admitted to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi as he has been diagnosed with mild pneumonia.

Dr. Umesh Prasad, the physician of Lalu Prasad in Ranchi, said that "We have decided to shift him to AIIMS, Delhi by air ambulance."
He also said that an air ambulance is being arranged to shift him to AIIMS Delhi. It is pertinent to mention that 8-member medical board is examining Lalu Prasad Yadav's health condition.

Meanwhile, the jail authorities will also seek approval from the CBI court to send Prasad to Delhi.
On Thursday, Lalu Yadav had complained of uneasiness in breathing after which a panel of doctors conducted several tests and referred him to the AIIMS in Delhi.
He also underwent a rapid antigen test and was found negative for COVID-19. Likewise, the RTPCR test report was also negative.
Lalu's wife Rabri Devi, sons Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap visited him at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (Rims) on Friday to inquire about his condition.
