Indian and Chinese nationals will be allowed to stay in the country without a visa for 30 days, according to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. He added that this will be subjected to security screening. The move is expected to boost tourism in Malaysia, which is relying on more visitors to support economic growth.
Google has announced that the inactivity period for a Google account will now be two years for all of its products and services. The corporation notified every user of the change via email. The change will affect all Google accounts that have not been used or accessed for at least two years as of December 1st.
The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has reduced the initial public offering (IPO) listing period from T 6 days to T 3 days. The new regulations have cut in half the previous six-day period for listing shares on stock exchanges following the close of initial public offerings (IPOs).
As of December 1, the Department of Telecommunication (DoT) will implement new regulations for purchasing and selling SIM cards in an effort to combat fraud and scams. All SIM card sellers would be required to submit to verification under the new regulations. Noncompliance could result in a Rs 10 lakh fine. The national government is also tightening the requirements for bulk SIM card purchases.
Brazil will lead the Group of 20 (G20) countries on December 1, 2023. The G20 will be held in Brazil in 2024, and South Africa in 2025.
