Ludhiana: Punjab Congress’s General Secretary Gurjot Singh Mucchal sent to jail
A local court on Thursday sent Ludhiana Punjab Congress’s General Secretary Gurjot Singh Mucchal to one month jail for allegedly duping a person of Rs 20 lakh in a land fraud case.

He was arrested by the police on Wednesday and was produced before local court on Thursday.

According to complainant, he struck a deal in 2015 to buy a chunk of land in Ludhiana. However , despite of taking money , Gurjot Singh Muchal did not pay any heed .

An FIR was registered against the accused in the case in August 2015.
