Man stabs wife over 40 times in Gurgaon
A wife was brutally murdered by her husband on Saturday in Gurgaon. A 28-year-old man killed his wife (23) by stabbing her over 40 times in Ashok Vihar area in Gurgaon.

The accused Pankaj Bhardwaj stabbed her wife Vanshika Sharma 43 times with a sharp object. According to PTC News, they got married on April 18, 2017. Pankaj and Vanshika used to quarrel a lot on daily basis. During interrogation, accused revealed that his wife used to abuse and insult him leading to a quarrel on daily basis. He also further claimed that his in-laws insulted him regularly.

The accused felt torture due to the frequent abuse, because of which he decided to kill her. Police sent the body for post mortem. The reports revealed that Vanshika was stabbed 43 times. The murder took place at around 4:30 pm.

Vanshika’s family lodged a complaint to the police that they suspected his husband behind this murder. Acting on this complaint, police launched a probe into the matter. Police found that Bhardwaj was found missing since the murder. It arrested Pankaj Bhardwaj and his accomplice Nashim Ahmed (39) with the help of technical surveillance on Sunday from Laxman Vihar area.
