Manjinder Singh Sirsa offers checking of accounts to all members
The Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC) General Secretary Mr. Manjinder Singh Sirsa has made an open offer to all the members of the DSGMC to check accounts related with the purchase and installation of the ACs by the DSGMC.

In an open letter sent to all members, Mr. Sirsa said that a newspaper has wrongly reported about a scam worth Rs. 80 lakhs while purchasing Air Conditioners by the DSGMC. He said that no such scam has taken place in the DSGMC and the news concerned is absolutely false and baseless. He said that ACs were purchased on demand by the Gurudwara Sahiban or departments and on the recommendation of the Chairman Purchase and after duly approved by the Management and after indent of store payment was made by cheques which had signature of Manjit Singh GK as President and in his absence MPS Chadha or Harmeet Singh Kalka or Satpal Singh and as General Secretary his own signatures or in his absence Amarjit Singh Pappu or Harmeet Singh Kalka had signed all such bills.

He appealed to all the members that if they any of them wants to check the documents concerning the purchase and payments made, he/she can come to him or contact Dharminder Singh General Manager during the office time hours. He said that all documents related with demand, indent, Vouchers, Receiving, Store entries and other related will be shown physically to them. He said that no contract has been given to India Refrigeration during the last six years.

Mr. Sirsa said that he is answerable to the Sangat and will not try to shy away from his responsibilities under the pretext of court case or anything else. He categorically made it clear that no AC scam has occurred in the DSGMC and those who are trying to make this an issue are infact working to defame the Sikhs and sikh body.
