Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella's son Zain passes away at 26
The first day of the month started with sad and heartbreaking news as the son of famous Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella passed away, informed media reports on Tuesday.
Zain Nadella (26), son of Satya Nadella and his wife Anu, was born with cerebral palsy and succumbed to his condition on Monday.

The news was conveyed to the executive staff of Satya Nadella through an email. Executives were requested to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers while providing them space to grieve privately, said sources.
Earlier in October 2017, Nadella in a blog post had discussed the birth of his son and told people about the whole incident and complications faced by Zain and his wife Anu.
With Zain's health in mind, Nadella has made it a priority for the company to develop products that better assist people with disabilities, citing lessons he learnt while raising and supporting him.
Last year, the Seattle Children's Hospital partnered with the Nadellas to create the Zain Nadella Endowed Chair in Pediatric Neurosciences, which is part of the Seattle Children's Center for Integrative Brain Research.

“Zain will be remembered for his eclectic taste in music, his bright sunny smile and the immense joy he brought to his family and all those who loved him," Jeff Sperring, CEO of Children’s Hospital, wrote in a message to his Board, which was shared with Microsoft executives.
