Miss universe Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu gives a befitting reply to trollers
Days after her stint at the iconic Lakme fashion week, Miss universe was brutally trolled on social media for her recent weight gain. Showstopper Harnaaz Kaur was wearing bright orange dress in velvet fabric attire with a plunging neckline and long train on the back.
She turned showstopper for designer duo Shivan and Narresh at the Lakme Fashion Week 2022, displaying the latest collection Fresconian Series.

The videos and pictures of Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu walking down the ramp has been shared on the official account of the Miss Universe 2021, FDCI and Lakme Fashion. Her fans trolled her for weight gain and body shaming. While some were shocked at how she put kilos soon after the pageant others backed Miss Universe for looking hot and slammed the body-shamers.
Harnaaz also took to her Instagram handle and shared the video and photos of her from the Lakme Fashion Week 2022 and fans trolled her for her weight gain.
One user commented, “Harnaaz itna moti hogya”, another commented, “Am I the only one who didn’t like this look?”
Several others also commented in favour of Harnaaz Sandhu and wrote, “yes…she put weight…. but it’s okay..”
However, these trolls ‘doesn’t matter’ to miss universe. While addressing a press conference on Wednesday beautifully dressed in Punjabi suit and Phulkari , organized in Chandigarh Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu said that, “I used to be told to be thin….people don't know that I can't eat flour….I am celeic, allergic to flour.”
“People say anything…… I don't care about body shaming…..Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of person,” she added.
She also spoke few lines for CM Bhagwant Mann praising him for bringing so much change in such a short span of time. She also stated that, “Drugs are the biggest problem in Punjab….I spoke to Bhagwant Mann on this issue…I want to do something for Punjab.”
Harnaaz Sandhu made the entire country proud by bringing home the Miss Universe 2021 crown. The 21-year-old from Punjab won the international beauty pageant held in Eilat, Israel, by edging out Paraguay's Nadia Ferreira and South Africa's Lalela Mswane.

Harnaaz stepped into the glamourous industry at a young age and bagged numerous pageant titles including Times Fresh Face Miss Chandigarh 2017, Miss Max Emerging Star India 2018, Femina Miss India Punjab 2019 and LIVA Miss Diva Universe 2021.
