Moga murder case: Sisters shot dead by sarpanch’s son
The accused has been identified as Gurvir Singh, son of Shekha Khurd village sarpanch Sukhwinder Kaur. The accused has been arrested.

According to the police officials, the victims have been identified as Kanwalpreet Kaur (18) and her sister Amanpeet Kaur (24). Both of them died during their treatment at the Government Medical College and Hospital, Faridkot.
Kanwalpreet was shot in the head while Amanpreet was hit on her neck, the doctors said. Both of the sisters were running beauty parlors. The police also said that the accused fled away after committing the crime and arrested later.

"The reason behind the Moga murder case was yet to be ascertained.
According to the sources, the women were inside the car with the accused before he pulled them out forcibly and opened fire at them near the bus stand.
Likewise, they were rushed to the community health centre (CHC) by some passersby from where they were referred to the GMCH, Faridkot.
