Monsoon Session 2021: Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal and former Union Minister Harsimrat Kaur Badal along with other SAD-BSP MPs continued to protest against farm laws outside the Parliament. With placards in hands, the SAD-BSP MPs have been demanding a total repeal of farm laws. Harsimrat Kaur Badal on Tuesday displayed the pictures of farmers who were martyred in the course of the ongoing Kisan Andolan in Parliament to nail the lie of the centre. Bathinda MP raised the issue of farmers who laid down their lives during the Kisan Andolan. The SAD leader also hit out at the Congress party for adopting double standards by raising the issue of farmers outside parliament but insisting that only the Pegasus spying issue be taken up for discussion in the House. She said the Congress party should have also demanded a discussion on the need to repeal the farm laws.
