Abu Dhabi Crown Prince turns back to thank Indian chauffeur before departing from New Delhi| Watch
PTC News Desk: Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has won praise online after a video showed him turning back to personally thank his driver before boarding his flight from New Delhi.
Sheikh Khaled was in the capital for the 18th BRICS Summit, hosted by India at Bharat Mandapam on September 12 and 13. The summit was held under the theme “Building Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability” and brought 13 world leaders and 17 delegations to New Delhi.

In the viral video, Sheikh Khaled can be seen getting out of his car and greeting dignitaries before leaving for the airport. However, as he was about to depart, he appeared to realise that he had not acknowledged his driver.

He then turned around, walked back to the car, shook hands with the driver and briefly spoke to him before leaving. The gesture has attracted attention on social media, with users praising the Crown Prince for taking the time to personally acknowledge his driver.
Sheikh Khaled represented UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in New Delhi for bilateral talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The discussions focused on energy supplies, trade, artificial intelligence, financial cooperation, education and tourism.
The leaders also discussed regional security amid the ongoing West Asia crisis, the safety of Indian seafarers and the UAE’s participation in the BRICS framework.
During the summit, PM Modi held several bilateral meetings with visiting leaders. The Ministry of External Affairs said on Sunday that Modi held 15 such meetings over three days, apart from informal interactions with world leaders and heads of international organisations.
