Avalanche hits Siachen base camp in Ladakh; three soldiers killed
PTC Web Dek: Three soldiers, including two Agniveers, lost their lives when an avalanche struck the Siachen base camp in the Union Territory of Ladakh, officials confirmed on Tuesday. The incident occurred on Sunday at the base camp, situated at an altitude of 12,000 feet.
A rescue operation was immediately launched, and the bodies of the trapped soldiers were recovered by the teams on site.
