Bengaluru murder case: Suspect reveals chilling details in death note, says 'chopped her body into 59 pieces'
Bengaluru murder case: The accused, who hacked 26-year-old Mahalaxmi into 59 pieces and stashed the body parts in a fridge in Bengaluru, claimed in his death note that he committed the crime because he was fed up with her conduct.
The police have recovered the death note written by Mukthirajan Roy, victim Mahalaxmi's colleague, in which he confessed to the heinous crime. According to sources, the death note was written in his diary. "I killed my lover Mahalaxmi on September 3," the accused wrote in his diary.
"I was fed up with her conduct. I fought with her over personal issues, and Mahalaxmi assaulted me. Enraged by her actions, I killed her," he wrote.
"After killing her, I chopped her body into 59 pieces and put them in a fridge. I committed this act because I was fed up with her behaviour," he wrote in his diary.
The note was found while officials were gathering information on killer Mukthiranjan Roy at his home. Roy committed suicide by hanging on Wednesday. He was found hanging from a tree in Bhadrak district, Odisha.
"The suspected killer arrived in Pandi village on Wednesday and stayed at home. He had left the house on a two-wheeler. His body was found by locals," police added.
Mukthiranjan disappeared after a shocking murder. The Karnataka Police had dispatched four teams to Odisha to catch him.
Since September 1, the accused killer had stopped coming to work. Mahalaxmi's last day at work was September 1.
