Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan lays foundation stone of Char Sahibzade MRI and CT Scan centre in Patna
PTC News Desk: Bihar Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Saturday laid the foundation stone of the Char Sahibzade MRI and CT Scan centre in Patna
The Char Sahibzade MRI and CT Scan Centre will be constructed at the Red Cross Bhawan located at Mangal Talab in Patna.
The MRI and CT Scan Centre service is being undertaken by Gurinder Singh Bawa, President of Chief Khalsa Diwan, Mumbai, and a member of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, as well as a member of Hazur Sahib and Patna Sahib.
The cost of MRI and CT scan machines is estimated to be around ₹14 crore.
The responsibility of constructing the building has been entrusted to Baba Kashmir Singh Ji Bhuriwaley.
The MRI and CT Scan Centre is planned to be completed and dedicated to the public by the next Parkash Purab.
All medical tests at the centre will be free of cost for economically weaker families. There are also plans to introduce cancer testing and treatment services in the future.
An MRI and Scan Centre is already operational at Khalsa College in Mumbai. The newly constructed centre at Ulhasnagar, Mumbai, will be inaugurated on January 18.
