Bihar: Unable to board train to Maha Kumbh, people break train windows, pelt stones
PTC News Desk: Massive chaos erupted at Madhubani railway station in Bihar after a mob shattered the train windows causing extensive damage. Passengers heading to Prayagraj for Maha Kumbh broke glass windows of the Swatantrata Senani Super Fast Express after they were unable to board the train.
The eyewitnesses while recounting the incident said that the train which was travelling from Bihar's Jainagar to New Delhi via Prayagraj arrived at Madhubani Railway Station and was jampacked making it difficult to for waiting passengers to board the train.
According to officials, most of the passengers waiting outside and sitting inside the train were to get down at Prayagraj to attend the Maha Kumbh Mela. The railway police detained several people who created the chaos at the station.

The attacks drew sharp condemnation on social media. “The person who broke the glass ran away like a coward immediately,” pointed out one social media user. Another said that everyone involved in the incident should have been rounded up and penalised.
