PTC News Desk: In the latest development surrounding the Delhi excise policy case, the Rouse Avenue court has made a decisive move, sending BRS leader K Kavitha to judicial custody until April 23. This decision comes as part of the ongoing legal proceedings pertaining to the case.

K Kavitha, known in political circles as the daughter of former Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, appeared before the court following the conclusion of her initial three-day police custody period. Her arrest by the Enforcement Directorate on March 15 has thrust her into the center of this legal storm. Currently held in Tihar jail, Kavitha's involvement marks a significant chapter in the case.

Notably, she joins a roster of other prominent politicians implicated in the matter, including AAP leaders Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh. The unfolding events have underscored the gravity of the situation, with even sitting Chief Minister Kejriwal finding himself ensnared in the legal entanglements, becoming the first incumbent chief minister to be arrested in connection with the case on March 21.

As the legal proceedings unfold, the case continues to draw attention and scrutiny, highlighting the intersection of politics and law in the nation's capital.
