Chandigarh administration declares holiday in all schools on January 27 after Republic Day events
PTC Web Desk: The Chandigarh Administration has announced a holiday on January 27 for all government, semi-government and private schools across the Union Territory.
According to officials, the holiday has been declared in view of Republic Day celebrations, during which students actively participated in various cultural and ceremonial programmes on January 26.
Officials said that as students were involved in Republic Day events and rehearsals, a holiday has been granted on January 27 to allow them adequate rest after the celebrations.
