Chandigarh administration seals rapper Badshah's club in Sector 26 over building rules violation
PTC News Desk: The Chandigarh administration on Tuesday sealed rapper Badshah's club Saggo in Sector 26 over alleged violation of building norms
According to officials, the club management had been issued multiple notices regarding breaches of prescribed rules. They were directed to comply with the regulations and rectify the shortcomings within a stipulated period, but failed to do so. Following this, a team from the building branch visited the site and carried out the sealing operation.
Sources said the club had been under scrutiny for some time over alleged violations related to building bylaws and deviations from the approved building plan. Despite repeated notices from the administration, authorities reportedly did not receive a satisfactory response or evidence of compliance, prompting the decision to seal the establishment.
The club had previously made headlines after social media posts alleged that its operators were asked to pay protection money and that explosions occurred when the demand was not met. However, that matter was investigated by security agencies and the police. The club has now returned to the spotlight following the latest administrative action.
