Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge hospitalised in Bengaluru, condition stable
PTC News Desk: Congress President and Leader of the Opposition in Rajya Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, has been hospitalised after he complained of uneasiness.
The hospitalisation is a precautionary measure considering Kharge's age.
The veteran Congress leader was admitted to the hospital after he developed fever and experienced pain in the legs. He is admitted to MS Ramaiah Hospital in Bengaluru.
A complete medical ceck-up was conducted and currently he stated to be stable, according to the doctors.
His condition is not critical and is being closely observed by doctors.
A formal statement from Kharge's office and a medical bulletin from the hospital are expected soon.
