Delhi boy slits throat of tutor who sexually abused him
PTC News Desk: A 14-year-old boy has been detained for allegedly killing his tutor who sexually assaulted him on several occasions, Delhi police said. According to Police, the 28-year-old tutor used to regularly abuse the boy and had even made a video of the assault.
The boy was arrested on Friday, three days after reportedly murdering the man in revenge with a sharp knife.
"On August 30, at around 2.15 pm, a PCR call was received indicating that blood was coming out of a room on the second floor of a house in Batla House, Jamia Nagar, and the room was open," South East Delhi DCP Rajesh Deo said.
When the police arrived, they found the man's body on the floor, with deep cut injuries on his neck. According to a senior police officer, the tutor used to live in Zakir Nagar with his family.
Police immediately filed a murder case and started an investigation. During the initial investigation, authorities discovered that the tutor was supposedly homosexual, had met the boy two months ago, and had sexually abused him on multiple occasions since.
He also recorded an intimate video of the boy and used it to blackmail him. If he did not cooperate, the man threatened to post the video on social media, according to authorities.
After receiving a call from his tutor to meet him at his Jamia Nagar home on the day of the incident, the child allegedly entered the flat with a sharp paper cutter and sliced the man's throat before fleeing the scene.
The man's family owned the one-room flat where his body was found. According to authorities, the property was rented and had recently been left by a tenant.
