Delhi HC allows Ashneer Grover, his wife to travel to US; condition applied
PTC Web Desk: The Delhi High Court on Wednesday allowed former BharatPe Managing Director Ashneer Grover and his wife Madhuri Jain Grover to travel to the United States, but not together.
Justice Subramonium Prasad granted Ashneer Grover permission to travel from May 26 to June 12, while Madhuri Jain Grover is permitted to travel beginning June 15, following his return.
This staggered travel arrangement ensures that one spouse remains in the country while the other travels abroad.
The court has directed the Delhi Police counsel to propose conditions for the Grovers' return to India.
The Grovers filed a plea challenging the lookout circulars (LOC) issued against them. These LOCs were part of an investigation by the Delhi Police's Economic Offences Wing into allegations of financial misconduct.
