The incident took place in the Farm area on Naggar Road. The deceased has been identified as Ram Krishan, a local resident who was walking along the roadside when the accident occurred.

According to people who witnessed the incident, a Maruti Swift car allegedly being driven on the wrong side of the road struck the pedestrian. Eyewitnesses claimed that the victim was dragged for several feet after the collision. They further alleged that the driver reversed the vehicle and ran over him again, causing fatal injuries.
