Shots fired outside Khan Sir's coaching centre in Patna, rivalry angle suspected
PTC News Desk: Shots were fired outside Khan Sir's coaching institute in Patna on late Tuesday night.
According to reports, some men barged into the coaching centre and assaulted the guard. The injured guard has been admitted to hospital for treatment.
Following the incident police launched investigation into the matter and are trying to identify the attackers based on the CCTV footage. After receiving the information about the incident, Khan Sir reached the coaching centre around 11:30 PM. He alleged that some anti-social elements entered the coaching centre and assaulted the guard.
Earlier it was reported that shots were fired outside coaching centre, however later it was clarified that no firing incident was reported and that it was a case of vandalism. The property inside the institute was also damaged.
Preliminary investigation suggests the involvement of rivals of Khan Sir as he claimed that recently some people reached the coaching centre and threatened that it would be "blown up" within two days. He alleged that some people have also raised objection oh his coaching centre as he provides affordable coaching. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding this so far.
Meanwhile, a group of students also gathered outside the coaching institute to protest against the attack.

Who is Khan Sir ?
Khan Sir (Faisal Khan) is one of India's most popular and influential educators. Based in Patna, he is widely known for his teaching style which focuses on breaking complex topics including geopolitics, general studies and current affairs into humorous and witty style.
He gained massive traction for providing affordable education to millions of studens preparing for competetive government exams.
Khan Sir has frequently become the voice of students regarding examination reforms, government job recruitment policies, and protests such as the BPSC and Railway exam agitations. Most recently, he has been vocal in criticising the government over the NEET paper leak.
