Elvish Yadav case: Cobra, krait venom found in samples from Big Boss OTT 2 winner's rave party
Elvish Yadav case: In a new development in the Elvish Yadav snake venom-rave party case, police informed that a forensic investigation revealed the use of venom from cobra and krait snake species in samples seized from the party.
The popular YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner has been embroiled in a legal quagmire since a rave party he attended in Uttar Pradesh's Noida was raided in November 2023 on suspicion that snake venom was being used to intoxicate those in attendance.
Yadav is accused of not only attending the party but also supplying and using snake venom. During the police questioning, he mentioned Bollywood singer Fazilpuria, claiming that the snakes in one of his videos were arranged by the singer.
Last year, the NGO People for Animals (PFA) conducted a sting operation and arrested five people for snake smuggling. The arrested individuals admitted that they had provided snakes for Elvish Yadav's party, which resulted in the rescue of nine snakes, including five cobras, and the recovery of approximately 20 ml of suspected snake venom from the party venue.
