Excise Policy case Arvind Kejriwal leaves CBI office after nine hours of grilling
New Delhi, April 16: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal left the CBI office after being questioned for nearly nine hours by the central agency on Sunday. The CBI grilled the AAP national convenor in connection with the excise policy case.
Last month, former deputy CM Manish Sisodia, who held the excise portfolio, was arrested in the same case.
While the CBI was questioning Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) called an emergency meeting of senior leaders.
The office bearers, district president, national secretaries and other leaders of the party were all asked to be present in the meeting.

Earlier, the Delhi Police detained AAP leaders Raghav Chadha, Sanjay Singh, and others for protesting near the CBI office in the national capital on Sunday.
"BJP suffers from Kejriwal phobia. It is because of Kejriwal's fear that the BJP has come down to such an act. It is a cowardly act. We are not scared of jail," Raghav Chadha stated.
Earlier in the day, Kejriwal said that the central agency will arrest him if the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government has given the orders.
"They (CBI) have called me today and I will definitely go. They are very powerful, they can send anyone to jail. If BJP has ordered CBI to arrest me, then CBI will obviously follow their instructions," Kejriwal said in a video message.
