Flier booked for unruly behaviour on Dubai-Mangaluru flight

PTC News Desk: An Air India Express passenger has been booked for unruly behaviour during a flight between Dubai and Mangaluru following a complaint by the crew, police said on Saturday.

The flight's security coordinator, Siddharthdas, filed a complaint against Mohammad BC at the Bajpe police station, they added.

According to authorities, the incident occurred early Thursday morning, and the FIR was filed that evening.

According to authorities, Mohammed flew from Dubai to Mangalore on an Air India Express flight on Wednesday night, arriving at Mangalore International Airport at 7.30 a.m. the following day. After the plane took off from Dubai, Mohammad went to the toilet and then came out to inquire with the crew about a person named Krishna who was not on the flight's passenger list.

He further heckled the staff by asking irrelevant inquiries and repeatedly hitting the service button.

He also removed the life jacket he had on the plane, handed it to the crew, and stated that he would use it after landing. He also allegedly stated that he intended to fly solo over the sea while the aeroplane was over the Arabian Sea, according to authorities.
