Greater Noida service lift accident: Four workers killed, 5 critical as service lift plunges to ground at construction site
Amrapali Dream Valley society accident: Four workers were killed when a service lift plunged to the ground at a construction site in Greater Noida West, also known as Noida Extension, on Friday. Five other workers sustained severe injuries and are currently hospitalised in critical condition, as confirmed by Gautam Buddh Nagar District Magistrate Manish Verma.
The incident was reported at 8:30 am at the construction site of the Amrapali Dream Valley society. Additional DCP (Central Noida) Rajeev Dixit said the service lift, typically used at construction sites, fell from a height equivalent to the 14th floor.
