Several landslides have occurred in the valley in recent days.

On Monday, severe rains caused flash floods in parts of Poonch and northern Kashmir, damaging 8 to 10 buildings and roads.

Meanwhile, all schools in Kashmir remained closed on Tuesday due to heavy rainfall, flash floods, and landslides in various locations.

The Kashmir University has postponed exams scheduled for Tuesday. Meanwhile, natural disasters pushed authorities to launch rescue operations in affected areas.

Nonstop rains and snowfall have caused landslides and flash floods in various areas of Jammu & Kashmir, inflicting damage to both public infrastructure and private property.

The Srinagar-Jammu national highway was closed on Monday due to landslides at various locations. A large number of vehicles are stranded on the highway.
