PTC News Desk: A Hyderabad-bound AirAsia flight from Malaysia received bomb threat via email on Saturday triggering security alert at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
The sender of the email remains unidentified who threatened to blow up the plane before its arrival at the destination.
Soon after receiving the threatening email, security personnel were alerted and they took the necessary measures to intensify the security action.
The development comes a day after another Hyderabad-bound flight received similar threat involving Lufthansa flight from Frankfurt, Germany.
However, the flight landed safely at the airport, following which the aircraft was moved to the isolation bay for a detailed security inspection.
Security personnel aong with bomb disposal squad launched investigation and began a thorough examination of the plane.
