INDIA bloc to protest over Kejriwal's declining health in jail on July 30
PTC News Desk: The opposition INDIA alliance is planning a massive protest against the BJP-led Union government over Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's deteriorating health. The opposition alliance accused the government of jeopardising Kejriwal's health and planned a massive gathering at Jantar Mantar on July 30.
Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party has accused the BJP of "conspiring to kill" him in jail, citing a medical report indicating that his sugar levels dropped 26 times between June 3 and July 7.
"The INDIA bloc will hold a big rally at Jantar Mantar on 30 July to raise the issue of Kejriwal's falling health," AAP said.
The Enforcement Directorate arrested Kejriwal on 21 March in a money laundering case relating to the alleged Delhi liquor scam, and the Supreme Court granted him bail. He was, however, arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in a related case and is still held at Tihar jail.
