PTC News Desk: The Border Security forces have detained a Pakistani ranger from along the international border in Rajasthan on Saturday. The development comes days after a BSF jawan was detained by Pakistani rangers when he accidentally crossed the border as tensions between the two countries run high following the recent terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam.

Meanwhile, Pakistani forces continued unprovoked small-arms fire across multiple sectors along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir, prompting a strong response from the Indian Army, officials reported on Sunday.
According to officials, the ceasefire violations occurred at eight locations across five districts of the Union Territory during the night between Saturday and Sunday. No casualties were reported.
This marked the tenth straight night of unprovoked cross-border firing in Jammu and Kashmir, occurring amid increased tensions following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.
