J-K: Encounter breaks out in Baramulla's Sopore area
Jammu and Kashmir: An encounter breaks out between terrorists and security forces in the Sopore area of Baramulla District on Friday morning.
Police and security forces are conducting a search operation to neutralize the hiding terrorists.

Earlier, on Thursday, the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police initiated a joint search operation in Uri, Baramulla. During this operation, one suspected individual was apprehended.
The search operation was prompted by specific intelligence inputs provided by intelligence agencies, as confirmed by the Indian Army's Chinar Corps. Additionally, security forces recovered one pistol and other war-like stores during the operation.
"Based on specific inputs from intelligence agencies, a Joint Search Operation was launched by #IndianArmy & @JmuKmrPolice today in Uri, Baramulla. One suspected individual has been apprehended along with recovery of 01xPistol & other war-like stores," the Chinar Corps, Indian Army stated in a post on X.
