At 7 a.m. on Thursday, the mortal remains of the Karni Sena leader will be held for public viewing at Jaipur's Rajput Sabha Bhawan. His last rites will be performed around 2 p.m. in his village of Gogamedi.

To prevent untoward situations on the day of his funeral, the Central Armed Police Force has been deployed in Jaipur and other districts of Rajasthan.

According to a senior official, troops from the Central Armed Police Force and the Rapid Action Force have been stationed in strategic areas throughout the city.

The official went on to say that the protests that occurred in the aftermath of Gogamedi's death had been called off and that the situation was now under control.

"We are keeping a close watch on the situation and working in close coordination with the state police," the official said.
