Love Drama Unfolds: Woman scales mobile tower in UP's Maharajganj to convince beau to marry her
PTC Web Desk: In a striking display of affection, a 20-year-old woman made a daring climb up a mobile tower in Maharajganj district, Uttar Pradesh, to profess her love and convince her beloved to marry her. The incident drew a sizable crowd near the towering structure, causing traffic congestion along a nearby highway, prompting swift crowd control measures by the authorities.
The scene resembled a Bollywood-style moment reminiscent of Dharmendra's iconic act in "Sholay," where spectators captured the episode on their cellphones as if witnessing a real-life movie plot unfold before their eyes.

According to Circle Officer Ajay Singh Chauhan, the woman took to the tower near Semra Raja toll plaza to persuade her longtime beau, a 24-year-old local youth, and his family for marriage. Efforts were made to coax her down, but when she remained steadfast, a courageous constable ascended the tower and successfully facilitated her descent.
The man, a truck driver, had gone to Nepal to deliver a consignment, the police said. A case under Section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt) of the IPC has been registered.
