Mann Ki Baat: Chandrayaan living example of women power, says PM; extends Raksha Bandhan greetings
Mann Ki Baat: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday addressed the nation in the 104th episode of his monthly radio broadcast Mann Ki Baat. In the episode, the PM pushed for Nari Shakti and hailed women's contribution to the Chandrayaan Mission.
“The Chandrayaan-3 success is a living example of women's development (Nari Shakti) in the country,” Prime Minister Modi said.
"When a country's daughters become so ambitious, who can stop that country from growing" he said.
According to the prime minister, Mission Chandrayaan has become a symbol of the spirit of the "new India," which wants to win under any conditions and knows how to win in any situation.
"There is one aspect of this mission in particular that I would like to discuss with you. When women's power is added, the impossible becomes possible," he stated.
'India is ready for the G20.'
Furthermore, PM Modi stated that India is prepared for the upcoming G20 Summit, which will be held in Delhi from September 8 to 10.
In December of last year, India assumed the G20 presidency. The presidency of the prominent bloc was turned over to India at the conclusion of the previous G20 summit in Bali, which was hosted by Indonesia on November 15 and 16.
The G20 is an intergovernmental forum comprised of 19 countries and the European Union. India will host the major multi-national events this year.
