PTC News Desk: Attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) meeting in Astana, Kazakhstan, NSA Ajit Doval reiterated India's commitment to strengthening ties with member states. Emphasising the importance of respecting sovereignty and territorial integrity, he condemned the recent terror attack in Moscow, expressing solidarity with Russia.

Doval stressed that terrorism in any form is unjustifiable and called for swift action against perpetrators, including those involved in cross-border terrorism. He emphasised the need to hold sponsors, financiers, and facilitators of terrorism accountable, urging an end to double standards.

Addressing ongoing threats from various terror groups, including those designated by the UN Security Council, Doval highlighted the use of technology by terrorists, such as drones for smuggling weapons and drugs. He advocated for enhanced cooperation within the SCO to counter terror financing and strengthen security measures.
