Nursing trainee assaulted in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri while returning from college in auto
PTC News Desk: A 19-year-old nursing trainee was allegedly r@ped by an auto-rickshaw driver in Maharashtra's Ratnagiri district. According to preliminary information, the victim was riding home in an auto-rickshaw when the driver offered her drinking water.
The auto-rickshaw driver had spiked the water, and the teenager passed out. The driver then allegedly took the woman to an isolated area and sexually assaulted her.
When the victim regained consciousness, she informed her family and eventually filed a police report. An FIR has been filed, and police are reviewing footage from CCTV to identify the accused. The woman is currently recovering in a state-run hospital.
