Operation Sindoor: 'Men in uniform' who designed the creative viral logo
PTC News Desk: In the wee hours of May 7, Indian Army launched precision strikes targetting terror infrastructure at nine terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir under the banner 'Operation Sindoor'.
The creative logo which signifies the loss of women during the ghastly Pahalgam terror attacks is now etched in the conscious of every citizen of India. It uses symbolism that has deeply resonated with millions. The logo was unveiled shortly after India launched precision strikes against Pakistan's terror camps.
Notably this iconic logo was not designed by any other advertising or branding firms, instead it was a creation of our very own men in uniform. The credit for designing the logo goes to Lieutenant Colonel Harsh Gupta and Havaldar Surinder Singh. The image was created in-house by the Social Media Section of the Additional Directorate General of Strategic Communication.
The second “O” in Sindoor is designed with a traditional vermilion bowl — a sacred symbol of married Hindu women — its bold red hue speaks volumes about sacrifice, justice and national pride.
The codename ‘Operation Sindoor’, under which India responded to the dastardly Pahalgam Terror Attack carried a message that was both emotionally resonant and symbolically heroic.
