Operation Sindoor on platter: Rawalpindi Chicken Tikka Masala to Balakot Tiramisu, IAF roasts Pak with dinner menu
PTC News Desk: A picture of alleged dinner menu of Indian Air Force is doing rounds on social media that features all of India's successful strikes on Pakistan. In what appeared to be a veiled jab at Pakistan following the Air Force’s successful Operation Sindoor strikes, a viral menu humorously referenced the damage inflicted on Islamabad — from the Bholari airbase to Lashkar terror camps in Muridke.
A day after the 93rd Air Force Day, several army veterans and journalists shared the menu on social media platform X, where it quickly went viral.
The creatively themed menu featured dishes like Bahawalpur Naan and Rawalpindi Chicken Tikka Masala as main courses, while the IAF’s strikes on Balakot, Muzaffarabad, and Muridke — all known terror hubs — were listed as desserts.
During rehearsals for the IAF Day celebrations, two aircraft — a Lockheed Martin C-130J and an Antonov An-32 — were seen flying over Agra using call signs ‘Rafiqui’ and ‘Shehbaz’, which many interpreted as playful digs at Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Rafiqui airbase targeted during Operation Sindoor.
The Rafiqui Airbase, named after 1965 war hero Squadron Leader Sarfaraz Ahmed Rafiqui, hosts several JF-17 and Mirage fighter squadrons along with utility helicopters. The base plays a strategic role in Pakistan’s air defence network due to its central Punjab location, enabling rapid deployment along both eastern and western fronts.
