Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Exhibition in Varanasi, had a delightful interaction with a young student. The student showcased her exhibit featuring green plants and explained the process of photosynthesis. To add a poetic touch, she recited a beautiful poem illustrating the scientific process. PM Modi was so impressed that he shared a video of the heartfelt recitation on his Instagram handle.
Expressing his admiration, the prime minister wrote on Instagram, "My friend in Varanasi knows her science well and is also a great poet." The heartwarming moment captured the prime minister's appreciation for the young talent.
During the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Exhibition, PM Modi engaged with various beneficiaries and flagged off the yatra in multiple states, including Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram.
Addressing a public meeting after the exhibition, PM Modi appealed to the citizens to commit to making India a developed country. He stated, "If the 140 crore countrymen take a resolve to make the nation developed, then India will surely become 'Viksit' by 2047." The prime minister considered the yatra as his examination, seeking feedback on whether the promises made were fulfilled, especially in providing housing to those in need.
On the first day of his Varanasi visit, PM Modi inaugurated 37 projects with a total worth exceeding Rs 19,000 crore, aimed at promoting regional development. The visit included a roadshow in the temple town and a tour of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Exhibition at Cutting Memorial Inter College.
