Rajasthan: PM Modi, French President Macron hold roadshow in Jaipur
PTC News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron held a massive roadshow in Jaipur, Rajasthan, on Thursday.
The French leader is in India on a two-day state visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During their roadshow in Jaipur, Rajasthan, PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron were greeted enthusiastically by the crowd.
Macron waved to the crowd, acknowledging the warm welcome.
A floral shower was held for PM Modi and French President Macron while they were on their mega roadshow.

Following the roadshow, Prime Minister Modi and the French President paid a visit to the Hawa Mahal. Hawa Mahal, also known as the "Palace of Breeze," was built in 1799 as an extension of Jaipur's Royal City Palace.
Prior to the roadshow, French President Emmanuel Macron visited Jantar Mantar in Pink City, Jaipur.
Prime Minister Modi was pictured greeting him warmly at Jantar Mantar. The two leaders exchanged warm greetings and posed for photographs. They then went to see Jantar Mantar. Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh established the famous solar observatory known as Jantar Mantar. It has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in July 2010.
Macron had earlier visited Amber Fort in Jaipur, Rajasthan. He also met the students who had gathered to welcome him.
On his visit to the fort, the French President was accompanied by External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari.
