Rajkot woman in soup for performing Yoga on road, apologises
VIral Video: A Yoga trainer found herself in a soup for performing Yoga in the middle of the road. Gujarat police spotted her violating traffic rules by performing yoga on the road and caught her. Gujarat Police also had her apologize for her reckless behaviour and shared a video of the same.
The incident occurred after a video showing her performing yoga asanas in the middle of a busy road, disrupting traffic, went viral. The alleged incident occurred in September when a woman clad in red decided to practice yoga on Amin Marg, a bustling street in Rajkot's posh western part, despite the rain. Some oncoming cars were forced to slow down as the woman practised yoga.
The viral video led to her detention by the police on charges of obstructing traffic.
Interestingly, the authorities did not simply arrest her; instead, they created a swanky transition video, similar to what an influencer would do, and uploaded it on their social media platforms, attracting substantial online attention.
Dina Parmar, 40, was seen doing a split in the middle of the road in this video clip, which then flawlessly transitioned into her being caught by Gujarat police.

In the video, Parmar could be seen publicly apologising for her actions and acknowledging that one of her videos showed her not adhering to traffic rules.
