Sadhguru discharged from hospital after brain surgery

PTC News Desk: Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev, spiritual guru and founder of the Isha Foundation, was discharged from the hospital on Wednesday following emergency brain surgery.

Dr Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group, who visited Sadhguru at the hospital, stated, "The doctors have expressed satisfaction with his recovery and healing. Sadhguru has kept the same spirit throughout his recovery. His dedication to the greater good, sharp mind and sense of humour are all intact. I believe this is fantastic news for the millions of individuals who have inquired about his health."

The Foundation has extended gratitude to everyone for their love and support for Sadhguru during this time.

On March 17, the 66-year-old spiritual leader's level of consciousness declined, accompanied by tiredness and weakness in his left leg. He was then taken to a medical facility.

A team of specialists, including Dr Vinit Suri, Dr Pranav Kumar, Dr Sudheer Tyagi, and Dr S. Chatterjee, performed the operation to stop the bleeding within a few hours of admission. Sadhguru was weaned off the ventilator following surgery.

Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar spoke with Sadhguru, wishing him good health and a speedy recovery.
