Lord Shiva temple collapses in Shimla: In a horrific and tragic accident, nine killed and several feared trapped as Lord Shiva temple collapsed due to landslide in Shimla.
The Lord Shiva temple was located in Summer Hill in Shimla district.
As per the officials, at the time of the disaster 25-30 people were present in the temple.

Taking to his X handle (formerly known as Twitter) Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his condolences on the tragic incident of Shimla temple collapse and wrote, “Distressing news has emerged from Shimla, where the “Shiv Mandir” at Summer Hill collapsed as a result of the heavy rainfall. As of now, nine bodies have been retrieved. The local administration is diligently working to clear the debris in order to rescue individuals who may still be trapped.”
