Toilet video scandal: BJP worker arrested for 'derogatory' post against Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah
Toilet video scandal: A BJP worker named Shakunthala was arrested for allegedly posting derogatory remarks against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on social media. The post, responding to a Congress leader's tweet, questioned whether the leader would respond the same if the Udupi incident happened to Siddaramaiah's family members.
The incident involved three students who recorded a video in a women's toilet at a private training college in Udupi, Karnataka. Although an investigation found no compromising content on the phone, the college administration reported the incident to the police, leading to the suspension of the three students.

The BJP has accused the state government of inaction and covering up the incident, while Karnataka Home Minister Dr G Parameshwara downplayed it as a "small incident" among friends.
