Tragic Crash: Speeding Scorpio kills 7 in bike and autorickshaw collision
PTC News Desk: In a devastating incident captured on CCTV, a speeding Mahindra Scorpio SUV caused a fatal collision on a single-lane road in Odisha, resulting in the deaths of seven individuals. The SUV collided head-on with two motorcycles and struck an autorickshaw from behind, also sideswiping a tractor in the process.
The heart-wrenching accident unfolded as the Scorpio, racing at high speed, attempted to overtake the autorickshaw, leaving minimal space to avoid two bikers traveling in the middle of the road. The collision occurred, causing immediate casualties.
Tragically, the autorickshaw, carrying 15 passengers, bore the brunt of the impact. Three individuals lost their lives on the spot, while four succumbed to their injuries during treatment at the hospital.
